Report Request
BY MAIL OR IN PERSON
Requests for motor vehicle crash reports may be requested in person or by mail. Reports may not be available the day of the request.
Written requests should accompany our Records Request form with a check of $5.00 per report and be mailed to:

ALL OTHER POLICE REPORTS
Police reports are generally available within 5 to 10 business days. Requests for reports must be made in writing or in person and must be accompanied by a fee of $5.00. Police reports requested in person may not be available the day of the request.

Police reports are not released to arrested individuals and/or suspects. These individuals may obtain reports through their legal representatives through the discovery and/or subpoena process.
Only the initial incident report will be released at requests from general public. Certain identification information will be removed, and investigative reports will not be released until such time as the case becomes an open record under Missouri Sunshine Law.
